Coach Kyle Shanahan revealed that the 49ers’ upcoming Week 11 game in Mexico City will keep the team away from home longer than the Week 1 opener in Melbourne, due to altitude and travel arrangements.

Shanahan said the Mexico City trip, involving a 2,000‑foot altitude adjustment and a likely stop in Colorado Springs, will be a longer away stint than the Melbourne game.
